画家・小原古邨の花鳥画を模写する。~summer workshop no.5~

For the finale of Summer workshop 2016 will be reproduction (copy) of great Japanese artist "Koson Ohara (1877-1945)'s work ~Bullfinch on flowering plum~.

By copying his work, you will learn how to draw the lines with Sumi ink and mixing the color of the pigments.

夏のワークショップ２０１６の最終回は、明治時代から昭和にかけて活躍した版画・日本画家小原古邨の代表作品を日本画顔料を使って模写します。模写は日本画に限らず絵を勉強するために有効な方法として美術学校などで取り入れられている手法です。ただ再現するだけではなく、墨や顔料の表現方法を観察し線の流れを模することで作家の呼吸や心象までも追求するのが模写。時間をかけてゆっくり古邨の世界に触れてみてください。
