綺麗な桜が咲きました。Workshop Nihonga@JAPAN MARKET
On 26th June, I had a great opportunity to give a workshop at Japan Market in Lloyd Hotel.
There were about 30 booths which are related to Japanese culture included foods, drinks and products. Plus there were some workshops as well.(https://www.facebook.com/JCEamsterdam/)
They made a beautiful Sakura with 8 participants. All the materials of Nihonga are from Japan, the mineral pigments and the shikishi, washipapers etc. Even though it was very first time for them to use Nihonga materials, they all made a great work!!!

４回目となる今回のイベントは天候にも恵まれ１０００人以上の来場で大盛況におわりました。日本文化を紹介するMarketでは食べ物や食器、アクセサリーなどおよそ３０のブースの他にワークショプも行われ、当アトリエの日本画ワークショップでは８人の参加者と金地の鳥の子色紙に桜を描きました。
みなさん岩絵の具に触れるのははもちろん初めて。それでもこんなに素敵な桜の作品が完成したのでご紹介します。

以前の日本画実習の生徒作品と絵の具の紹介。
岩絵の具。天然の鉱石を砕いたものです。もちろん日本にしかありません。
見にくる人も沢山。

絵の具と膠を混ぜて、指で包むように練って溶きます。
今回はあらかじめ下図を用意。構図はそれぞれの好きなように入れて制作。あっという間の２時間だったな〜。
